HUNZA AUTUMN TOUR (Considered the season of farewell)

Autumn in Hunza Valley brings with it a vibrant color palette as the hills and slopes are covered in leaves and snow; making the region more picturesque than in any other season. With a dynamic landscape, there is a reason the valley is often referred to as ‘Heaven on earth’. From vibrant tones of orange and red to soothing shades of yellow, the season brings with it a spectrum of color and beauty.

Hunza Autumn is the most exciting season in the Hunza Pakistan. At the end of the summer season in September, the orchards start changing color like a bride Groom with the colorful dress of her wading day. These fantastic changes bring a glorious transfusion into the human body, which gives happiness and pleasure. Autumn in Northern Areas of Pakistan is something to behold. This is the time of year when the trees of poplar, apricot, mulberry, peach, apple, and plum burst forth into a riot of color with hues of orange, rust, and red. The clear and bracing weather offers the best view of the surrounding mountains.

The Hunza Valley is a mountainous valley, situated north/west of the Hunza River, at an elevation of around 2,500 m. The territory of Hunza is about 7,900 square km (3,100sq mi). Aliabad is the main town, while Baltit and Altit are popular tourist destination because of the spectacular scenery of the surrounding mountains. The people are cheerful, friendly, fair-skinned and blue or green eyes. Almost all speak Burushaski and in upper Hunza, they speak Wakhi. Day 1: Islamabad
Welcome at Islamabad airport, and transfer to hotel, after refreshment proceed for city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which includes famous Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, Rawalpindi old bazaar, Raja Bazaar.

Day 2: Islamabad to Chilas
Drive from Islamabad to Chilas on the way you will cross Abbottabad, Mansera, Shinkiyari, Thakot, Besham, and Dassu also you will see Indus river. which joins from Thakot:

Day 3: Chilas to Karimabad
Drive to Karimabad 235 km, 5-6 hrs, en route we will stop in Chilas to see rock carving, in Thalichi to see Nanga Parbat  and viewpoint of three mighty mountain ranges meet, the Karakorum, Himalayas and Hindukush

Day 4: Altit Fort- Baltit Fort and Duiker valley
Morning visit Baltit Fort, Altit Fort and Altit village, after lunch drive to Duiker valley 30 minutes, arrive and transfer to hotel, evening walk through the village to Holy shrines.

Day 5: Duiker to Gulmit
Drive to Passu 1hr, en-route visit Attaabad Lake, arrive and transfer to hotel, after refreshment visit Borith Lake, Gulkin village, Gulmit village, Passu Glacier, Passu village, Hussani village and Hussani suspension bridge.

Day 6: Khunjerab Pass- Karimabad
Full day excursion to Khunjerab Pass 4733m, (Pak-China Border) evening drive back to Karimabad for overnight

Day 7: Karimabad to Besham
Drive to Besham via Karakoram highway 475 km, arrive and transfer to hotel

Day 8: Besham to Islamabad
Drive to Islamabad 6-7 hrs 261 km, en-route visit Taxila museum and historical sites

Day 9: Fly Home
Transfer to Islamabad airport for return flight
